Our managing director Maurice Baker attended the World Maritime Day Parallel Event 2025 in Dubai, which was themed “Our Ocean – Our Obligation – Our Opportunity.”
Here he met and exchanged perspectives with IMO Secretary-General Mr Arsenio Domínguez, discussing shared priorities for the future of global shipping and sustainable practices.
“Equally inspiring was engaging with the new generation of UAE cadets, officers, and captains, whose passion and dedication reflect the strength and future promise of the maritime sector,” said Maurice.
“The event was a remarkable platform for advancing dialogue on sustainable shipping, ocean protection, and digital transformation while reinforcing the UAE’s role as a global hub for maritime innovation and collaboration.”
